Day 1
Tuesday: Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, met outside the arrival Halls by our representative and transferred to your Nairobi Hotel.
(Rooms may not be ready for occupancy until noon).
Day 2
Wednesday: Nairobi - Lake Naivasha - Maasai Mara National Reserve
Breakfast at the Hotel. At 08:00 hrs, commence your safari, driving due west out of Nairobi, ascending to the edge of the Great Rift Valley, for a dramatic and panoramic descent down the Great Rift Valley escarpment to the floor below. Make a photographic stop at a viewpoint before descent.
Continue along the Rift Valley Floor to the shores of Lake Naivasha for a 1-Hour Boat Ride and its expansive birdlife, as well as numerous hippo families that reside within and around the Lake.
Resume your journey towards the Maasai Mara, continuing with your drive along the Rift Valley floor, via Mai Mahiu Town, where you turn left towards the Maasai Mara – Stop in Narok (the Maasai capital) for lunch and a short break.
After lunch, continue your drive to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, visit to a local Maasai Village for a rich cultural experience.
Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 3
Thursday: Maasai Mara
Day spent with morning and afternoon game viewing drives in the extensive Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s most popular Reserve.
In consultation with your driver/ guide, there is an option of a full day game viewing drive with packed lunches. This allows you time to explore greater areas of the reserve without the need to return to the camp for lunch.
All meals and overnight at the camp.
Day 4
Friday: Maasai Mara National Reserve - Lake Victoria (Tanzania)
Breakfast at the Camp. At 08:00 hrs., begin the drive to Lake Victoria (Tanzania) through the Isebania Border point for Immigration & Customs clearance.
After crossing into Tanzania, bid farewell to your Kenyan guide and meet your Tanzanian guide who will accompany you for the remainder of the journey. Lunch will be a picnic on this day.
Arrive at your lodge for check-in, with the rest of the afternoon spent at leisure or for optional activities (Payable directly): Sunset / Sunrise Boat Cruise, Birdwalk, Canoe Trip, and Biking.
Dinner and overnight at the accomodation.
Day 5
Saturday: Lake Victoria - Serengeti National Park
Breakfast at the Lodge. At 08:00 hrs., depart for Serengeti National Park. Lunch will be a picnic so as to commence game viewing immediately upon entering the Park. Later, exit the park and head for dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 6
Sunday: Serengeti National Park
Enjoy a full day of game viewing at Serengeti National Park. On this day, lunch will be picnic. This setup allows you more uninterrupted time in the park, maximizing your wildlife encounters. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Optional Activities (payable directly): 01 Hour Balloon Safari culminating in a champagne breakfast.
Day 7
Monday: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro - Karatu
Early Breakfast at the Lodge. Depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area to arrive at 10:30 hrs.
On arrival, descend to the bottom of the crater for a crater tour. A truly unique wildlife experience. Lunch will be a picnic.
In the late afternoon, ascend the crater and exit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight at the accommodation.
Day 8
Tuesday: Karatu - Arusha
Breakfast at the Camp. Exit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area at around 10:30 hrs and drive to Arusha. On arrival, drop off at your Arusha hotel. Afternoon spent at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the accommodation.
Optional Activity available en route to Arusha (Payable directly): Mto wa Mbo Village Visit with Local lunch.
Day 9
Wednesday: Arusha
Breakfast at the lodge. Transferred to the airport for your international departure flight. (Transfer 03 to 04 hours prior to your flight)
